Anyone loves this yummy dish? Wat u usually order? I usually order too much cos when cut up liaoz then realise alot
I like century egg, water chestnut thingy, taiwan sausage, the crispy crispy thing..Sadly,
not all stores serve with pink sauce and peanuts..and the bee hoon should be darker, dryer

my mother's ngoh hiang is made from o.5kg of minced: 3 kg of prawns....
plus all that salted egg...chestnuts...etc etc etc...
dipped in lime juice....
u eat one...
and u will never eat others again.

The "taiwan sausage" u mention got another name call "guan chang"(fill sausage).
I remember there is one stall inside ppls park, not bad.
"Pink sauce" in cantonese we call "tiem jiong""(sweet sauce), made from papaya.
Most of the cantonese stall will sell darker color bee hoon, becos there use a lot "dark soya sauce", try China town, u can find a lot of cantonese food there. -

another famous one is lao zhong zhong located at macpherson food centre.
they don't serve beehoon there..
