What u usually order? Cha siew, roast pork or chicken/duck?
I have craving 4 cha siew+roast pork+Wu Xiang rice (at Tanjong Pagar/read below)Its delicious n longggg queue! Close at 2 PM cos sold out by then!
Tucked away in a corner of Realty Food Centre is a stall known for its roasted duck called Eng Kee Famous Duck Rice. Incidentally, this stall serves one of the best char siew rice in town too. The char siew pork is not too fatty or tough and roasted to perfection. The gravy that goes with the rice is especially good so remember to ask for more. The stall closes at 2pm but the food never fails to sell-out by then. So go early to avoid disappointment. Prices start from a reasonable S$3. If you’re feeling hungry, don’t miss the home-made “wu xiang”. Its filling contains minced, chopped carrots, finely diced water chestnuts and other ingredients that we can’t make out. But one word sums it up, DELICIOUS!

When: 11.30am to 2pm. Closed on Sundays.

the one near my hse is good. but closed 2 yrs ago. -
I don't like char siew, so I usually stick with roast pork (and sometimes duck). Roast goose and suckling pig are good too.

i am still looking for news on the Gek Poh shopping mall's HK style char siew rice.... 2nd floor the inner kopitiam..about 2 or 3 yrs ago one.. very nice one.. anyone stay near there and know what happened to it??

There is one stall at Cactus Rd. It's in the Cactus Cafe. Love their roast pork. Simply the best (to me) cos the skin is very crispy. Also, the provide "Kiam Chye Ark" Soup for free.
They operate from around 11am to around 2 pm. Very good business. -
I always order as char siew, cham sio bak.
(Roasted pork + The crunchy 3 layered skin + rice with gravy + a thin slice of cucumber = usualy $2.50) -
