wah you, sound like hungry spirit. hor hor, the calories still in you unless you shake it off.
Chinatown brand nice or not? I tasted a few of the brands but never find any nice ones. Some even smell not fresh, that sort of sour smell.
sesame is nice!

the very popular one is at Beach road food centre. it has been there for very long.
i prefer the plain ones with nothing in them.
i also had one somewhere with chocolate filling. VERY GOOD! but that's because i love chocolates =P
yam's good also. between sesame and peanut, i'll choose sesame.

I love the Sesame most, followed by redbean and peanut.

thanks, will try the chinatown brand next time I want to eat instant tang yuan.
I pay only $1.60 for 4 at beach road hawker centre for tang yuan.
I don't like the traditional tang yuan. I had tried to persuade my mum to add ingredients but she refused. The traditional homemade tang yuan taste sticky and I don't like the smell.

I din know got so much calories in me after eat those sesame tangyuan that night, ill I am too greedy cos my sis only eat 5![]()
I eat 10 and left 5 for her![]()
Actually I only like some flavours, but I think sesame flavour is my favourite.
beside I think Day 15 of the CNY is the day where everyone has to eat some tang yuan right?
Most possibly people will make tang yuan at home so that everyone can eat together, so packed tangyuan also not a bad choice.

to shake off the calories exercise and drink chinese tea. anything glutinous is not easy for digestion.
Happy eating tang yuan on Yuan xiao Jie next month
