I share my exp first...
I was at the FoodFare beside Admiralty MRT and I ordered a chicken claypot rice. I decided to try it since it was listed as "chef's recommendation". But when the food was ready, the outlook cannot make it, and the taste sux when I ate it. I left immediatedly.
Come to think of it, they got the cheek to call that claypot rice their "chef's recommendation". I must give them a pat seriously.
Back to the topic, I think next time if I dont get the food I deserve, even if they had prepared it, i wont pay them a single cent.
Below are some scenarios that can make me refuse to pay:
1) give too little dish (if i eat mixed rice, they give too little and still dare to charge me the money)
2) forget to add sauce for me (if the food comes with it without the need to remind them)
3) food outlook sux (the appearance totally different from the menu, a bit different is ok for me)
4) overcharge items ( imagine u have to pay $5 for nasi lemak, rice + 2 dish.
thats why. see the menu and place before u visit them.
u want cheap food, go hawker center.
if go kopitiam and stuff, u prepare to pay the kopitiam rate. or, play safe, eat those food with already price tag. Give too little dish, u quarrel with them lor.
i would like to congratulate tt stall on successful marketing
No, i wont quarrel with them, I will just walked away without paying them. They cant do anything to me also.

i'm always too easy going to kick up a fuss.
i've never.. not paid for food before. like abit embarrassing to kick up a fuss about it. the most don't go back again lor.
u want to know what's overpriced?
lol, that time i did printing at a printing shop. 5 piece of A4 paper - $2.50.
u know how dui i was? =(
haha but they really dont deserve the money if their food and service sucks right.
where did u went to do your printing? If u did a colored printing, the money they charged u is quite normal. But if u print in black n white, u got chopped liao.

they don't. but i think i'm gracious enough to not kick up an infantile fuss, probably sneak a photo and post in stomp and risk getting into a fist fight, and to tolerate and then to chalk it up as an experience not to go back there again.

black and white. colour is $1 per piece.
but the point is. i've been makaned more than my fair share in life.
maybe i should kick a fuss, maybe i should just walk off without paying, but if i was drawn into a quarrel, i would have ruined my entire day.
well thats your way of handling this kind of situation.... I have my own way... I wont kick up a fuss anyway... i have nothing to lose and they got everything to lose...
i guess in this world, its either u got makaned or u makaned ppl. The world goes round ya?
But in your printing case, the price was stated clearly for u? If u dont like the price, u can always walk away.

apparently it's stated clearly. i nv noticed it though until i went back again to bind some notes.
true, the world system teaches that you either makan others, or be makaned.
the world system also teaches that to get ahead in this world, you have to do whatever it takes, by hook or by crook.
and that to get back your honour, you have to take revenge
a stab in the back isn't enough, add two more knife wounds in the front as well.
some believes an eye for an eye, but it's ok to claim 2 eyes for an eye.
i prefer to try to live by "blessed are the meek.."
strength under control
curbing the natural instinct to rebel, fight, have my own way
