This is comfort food! Even before you sink your teeth into it!
Introducing... NISSIN CHICKEN RAMEN!
This is one of my favorite instant noodles. I like the cute chicky, and I like the bouncy texture of the noodles. I like how you just cook the noodles without having to add any seasoning (it's all in the noodles, so you can even eat it like a mamee snack!). I also like how you can choose whether you want to soak it in hot water for 3 minutes or cook it in boiling water for 1 min (look at bottom picture). And, there's an indentation (?) in the middle of the noodle block for your egg yolk to settle nicely (once again, bottom picture)!
You can get individual packs (from Meidi-Ya) and bundled packs from most supermarkets, and Meidi-Ya (not sure about other supermarkets) also carry the mini-sized version (think Maggi Mee-in-My-Mug)!
I even have a tee shirt for this! xD

This is actually the first ever instant ramen, invented by Ando Momofuku in post-war Japan. The taste has apparently not changed since then.

there another mini size cartoon cup cup noodle that tast good too ... it has yellow and white packet two flavour ... with very small panda fish cake :lol: -

Really? The noodles make me feel so happy, I've not noticed if there's a foul taste like you mentioned.
Poor cows don't eat a lot of top quality food so my taste buds are not as sensitive, but I'll pay more attention when I gobble up the next pack. Hello Kitty: I don't know where to buy the tee. One day suddenly I found it in my clothes drawer and I asked my sister and she said she's never seen the tee before and nobody else knows who it belongs to. It's as though it popped out from thin air, really.

yup. let me know if you go shopping and spot anything non-meat/non-seafood flavour -
i like this noodle very much...when you cook, the whole house will smell like KFC...
got smaller packaging for mug purpose.....very nice too!
