I have yet to buy anything from Prima Deli. ![]()
Rather not be bitten than twice shy.
Think someone ( maybe competitor) sabo the shop.As u can see that hawker centre, many similar shops selling the same food stuffs.
I have eaten the rojak but not frequently. It is the best Indian Rojak in Sg. My advice is be wary of those seafood and potato. If you select those fried ones, they should be ok.
Today, news report that 41 rats have been detected since last Friday, indicated that the said hawker centre is not pest free. Hence, the authority incharge ie NEA should also be held responsible for this food poisoning. When was the last check made? Who was or were the civil servants assigned to check?
NEA said they are not responsible for temp food markets, only those perm ones.
Haha, i see a bit of propaganda today by NEA and ST. NEA says his rating has been revised to C from B. Stall owner tells press otherwise, that it's status quo. So who's lying here?
No cleaners after 7pm and so many rats. Whose fault is this? Stall owner's?
The culprit is a virus. Confirmed on Lianhe WanBao/ZaoBao or Shin Min Daily News (forgot ler).
virus caused by the food la.
i ever had diarrhoea from eating belacan kangkong and i had to sit at the toilet bowl for hours. And i was very weak for the entire week.
And i sat at the toilet bowl not to shit but to vomit.
The NEA cannot be held responsible for the rat infestations. Their duty is to check on the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises. The onus is on the stall holder to keep clean and indirectly keep the rats away.
Rats are every where. No one can control them. They come from neighbouring vacant lands, over populate the land and spill onto built up areas in search of food. When they find food, they will gravitate there. You can't blame the NEA for that. If you are a stall holder there, the NEA can blame you. ![]()
i know for a fact that hawker centres in bedok close regularly for cleaning. sometimes i even find it an inconvenience.
but to have more than 120 rats??
how long was it since they last did a cleaning?

news reported around another 50 or so at large.
this is serious as most of us do eat out
better not patronise those stalls deem unhygienic especically those fron PRC
I heard from the radio that they caught 160 rats.
The ministry should come forward and take responsibility for the matter.
Stop blaming the hawkers for the virus.
They are only responsible for the cleaniness of their food and stall.
After two deaths, I am disappointed that the minister in charge did not come back to Singapore to monitor and improve the condition.
What I saw was reports after reports of defensive writing telling people that they have done their work.
If the work was done properly, this incident should not happened in the first case.
If there is a crack, step forward and mend the crack.
Stop wasting the time wayanging.
Sad case... like that I very scared of eating out already...
U never know what goes behind the kitchen...

so... the hawker is not to be blamed?
The press and media is pointing fingers at the hawkers for everything.
The stall owner is responsible and guilty for the food poisoning of the rojak.
But, the overall cleaniness of the hawker center should be under dilligence of the town council and the ministry.
I am disappointed that the ministry is running from all responsibility by giving lousy excuse that the temporary hawker center is not under their care.
If they have performed audits and checks, they will not be in this condition.
It is no point to say it is not their care at this point cos it show that there is a loophole in the system.
