Kok Kee Wonton Mee @ Lavender Food Square. $3 for one small pop. It's all in the gravy with plenty of lard I'm sure, but what's "wonton" about Wonton Mee without lard?

best in taste and ingredients, great!
wantons consist of fresh prawns with no meat, they are tasty, delicious, crunchy!! drooling . . .
I prefer meat and not prawn wantons ![]()
me like fried wantons
I don't like fried wantons. I like the soup ones from fei fei and the kovan one. But the kovan one is the best, got aftertaste one.![]()
kovan ftw
" Da Jie" waton mee, at the head of Sam Leong road off Jalan besar. Comes with 2 fried wanton and 2 in soup + veg + char siew. standard plate is $2.
its way nicer than the one at parklane and Lavendar, and also the one at Far East plaza/cuppage

Ate quite often back in the 90s the ba cho mee at Parklane; very nice.
Yup, lol i still remember going to "early bird" at Billie (typo?) billard centre
and the late 90s came the Portugese egg tarts at Peace Centre. Egg white tarts shiok.
wanton mee thread!
The wanton mee at Crawford Food Centre is yummy. Opens in the evening. Handmade egg noodles and the wantons taste the best among the local wanton mee stalls I have ever tasted.
From $3, small portion (mee also comes with a few shreds of chicken).

no worry, la. YOu most of the time excited when talking about food, hahahah.
The food centre near the immigration department. Go give it a try. According to my relative she said that the wanton mee tastes like wanton mee in the past and is the closest she can get so far.

Not far if you take MRT there. Get down at Lavender station.
I love it. Once in a while will go all the way there to eat.

I heard it is open around 6 pm. But let me tell you, all these years we patronize this stall, we notice they are not well organised. Though stall is open they are not ready yet, take their time to prepare ingredients. So be prepared to wait. Longest wait so far for me is 45 mins.
WAH 45 mins!
Then i go eat the pig organ soup liao rofl

Not every time is 45 mins, sometimes waited for 15 minutes or 30 minutes.
To me it is worth the wait.
