  A listing of where to get your fix of chicken rice.
  
  Singapore, August 7, 2009 - Hainanese chicken rice is steamed white chicken served cold on warm white rice with a light soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic-chilli dip, accompanied by a broth of chicken stock.

  The original Hainanese chicken rice was served with ground green chilli dip.

  Over time, lime was added to the chilli sauce.

  Singapore chefs also use only chicken stock unlike the Hainanese, who use both pork and chicken.

  Pre-fried in chicken fat and cooked in chicken broth, the rice has a rich flavour.

  The dish is said to have benn established in Middle Road, Purvis Street and Koek Road more than 60 years ago.

  The Bugis St Chuen Chuen Chicken Rice was reputedly the first to add beansprouts and crystal chicken feet as sides to Hainanese chicken rice.

  Now,30 years later, they are still as popular as the main dish.

  Its trademark? Hot, zesty homemadegarlic-chilli sauce.

  the hawker at harbour front, boneless chicken rice

  the foodcourt dubbed kopitiam inside white sands

  and many around tpy which are nicer. another one at wen tong ji or smth liddat.

   

  never heard of these. the wee nam kee one at novena aint nice at all. wonder why so many ppl go there.

  My choice :

  Min Huat, Kuching, Sarawak near the bus terminal. Also very good kong bah.

  Steamed white chicken done like the good old way back in the 60s in Sg. Superb.

  long Q one beside pao stall not nice

  nice one is facing rojak stall, rojak yu cha kuek expensive, higher then normal price

  long long should be the stall name

  opposite yong tau hu also not bad,soya bean boiled soup,

  Yeah,in Count Dracula there  was Christopher Lee.In Count on me Singapore there are still two blood sucking Lees.But why chicken blood also hantam ar?
