ok fine then in this case, then the fish maybe dead too. It has been out of water for some time already, it could have been dead but the movements could be because of twitches LIKE THE CRAB...why then is this cruel?

Fish can live out of water for sometime...and in this case it's still alive because it's head/brain is not damaged....
Also because the chef makes sure that it's still alive....in some cases they actually put back a sliced up fish into the water...and it was still swimming...

imagine a giant picks u up from orchard road and lay your body on ice, u struggled but to no avail. They pin u down and slice open your body and start using chopsticks to eat your organs. Since your brain is still alive, u could feel all the pain and everything but helplessness makes u bear all the sufferings and die slowly. U could only look at the giants while they eat you

it is cruel. lately i saw an advertisement on tv regarding one steamboat restarurant (cannot remember the name) the live crabs were crawling on the table while the people were dining. it is cruel to put the live crabs in the hot soup, imagine someone put you in hot soup, how do you feel ? vets said animals do have feelings like humans. the advertisement is still on going.
