I havent been to Marine Parade for a v long time so i only realise yesterday the burger king has been replaced by carls junior
burger king likes to keep closing down outlet esp when they open a new one.....last time. Kovan's also like that. It seemed to close down after the Toa Payoh central one opened.
Macdonalds dont close down outlets like burger king. the only one i knew which close down is the one next to Bishan Bus interchange.
IMO, Carls jr wins any BK whooper...
burger king has a product line with limited demand. hence they have to close the loss making branches and open new ones where they hope demand is.
mac dont have to close cos they got winning product line.
frankly, kfc will close down but exist cos no strong competition and muslims like to eat chicken.
long john silver not bad.
I am a bit surprise because the BK at parkway has been there for a long time already. I think it is because they open the new one at citysquare mall, so this one they close.
Mac is just popular, and it is everywhere.
isnt carls hamburger more expensive than a whopper burger?
I used to eat at west mall burger king.
has cravings for macdonalds fish fillet burger....somehow only spore seem to have that food item.the fish at macdonald really is fish!!!small but its all fish and not flour stuffings that taste like fish .
That burger king branch at parkway parade was one of the oldest. I used to frequent the small ball playground inside it. My folks went shopping, and I spent the rest of the evening in there unsupervised. I think i was 5 years old back then.
prefers KFC............as i find burger king every year meat in burger seems to be shrinking and shrinking n shrinking.

long GONE silver liao lor.....................their fish always make me wanna puke !
My favourite memory of parkway parade shopping centre is the basement, where the food court currently occupies now. Long long ago way before that, the space was occupied by individual stalls, and my favourite was the one called " fat mama". The eatery is like those japanese ramen stalls, small and cramp. They served chicken rice, tahu goreng, and my favourite laksa.
When it was converted to a food court, they occupied a stall for awhile, and then disappeared.
holland village bk also close down. ):
