btw... each day, when we do the closing, we'd take a scraper (you know the type painters scrape paint off walls) and scrape thick layers of congealed grease from the chimney vents of the burner... the burners they threw the "beef" patties into..
we'd collect enough to fill about one and a half of those catering steamer trays and the gunk will be put in a bucket to be collected by the waste disposal companies ![]()
then, we'd used caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) to wash out the residual grease and oil in the burners and chimney outlet... then set the burners to "high" to burn out the residual chemicals...

bk is franchise, macs is direct operator.......maybe the franchisee is winding down...
i stil think burger king better than macs.
macs the burger become damn freakin small compared to 5/6 years ago. burger king not that bad. the price also not much diff.. carls junior and BK cnnt cmepare la their price so different. KFC the chicken also grew smaller ughhh

anyway the burger king at thomson plaza also had been there for many years already. now it is replace by subway
