What's the difference between Shui Jiao and won ton ?

  Shui Jiao is bigger in size.   Has spring onions in it.  More meat in it.

  Wanton smaller sometimes has flat fish in it. 

  The taste of the soup is different from each other.

  Since we are on tis topic, want to recommend you the shui jiao at banquet food court.  Taste real good!   Minced chicken meat inside.

  err.. Shui Jiao normally has a complete Shrimp (prawn) inside...

  Wanton served with pork....

   you are half right leh

  HOng kong style wanton has both minced pork and prawns in it.   Taste more prawns.   crunchy prawns, yummy!

  Never ate a Wanton with fish inside...

   

  I been to HK 3 times this year alone...... ate most of their good food...

  I do agreed that every countries have different servicing.... but the explanation you gave is pretty misleading... sorry to say that...

  Its flat fish, something like dried fish or something. I like guo tie more. More crunchy but more oily..

  yes, dried fish with salty, crispy , delicious taste.

  I find guotie skin too thick and tasteless.

  I think u're refering to Ti Poh... or something like tat... English is Sole Fish I think...

   

  @TS: Actually the way they are wrapped is also different... Shui Jiao are wrapped in a way like curry puff... Where as wanton are wrapped differently...

  The best wonton in the universe comes from the yi shi jia wonton mee stall at kovan food centre. But since kovan food centre is now closed for renovation till the next general elections, they have moved their stall elsewhere. I know where, but will not divulge because not many know, and hence they got lesser crowds, which is a very good thing for me.

  So if you dunno where it is, blame Cynthia Phua.
