Not very common, don't look attractive either....But, once you try, its yummmmy! Warm it up before eating, cut into half, spread with butter, jam, with fried eggs or eat it on its own. Best place to get is at Four Leaves Bakery, they bake fresh everyday! Plain butter, crannberry, rasin and chocolate walnut. My personal fav is chocolate walnut, lots of choco chips and crunchy nuts....

i miss the ones in Granchester (just outside Cambridge) - very traditional English tea set: tea, scones - jam, clotted cream, mini sandwiches. venue: lawn by the river.

Well, in GB, I have to send 99 emails and calls before I can get the documents I wanted... They are simply too laid back down there... unlike life here which is fast paced...
but still, I do enjoy a nice pot of chinese tea + dim sum @ Tian Fu Teahouse, 60th floor of UOB, during the weekend... Great view of the city and the river below...
I like 4 leafs scones. Yummy.

Thanks. I nearly bought them.
I love scones too! My favorite ones are from Four Leaves too! :D
I like to toast them until they're a little crispy on the outside.
The ones from Da Paolo are HUGE, about 5" in diameter, but not really tasty.
Cedele has got good scones too.

.....too huge not appetising, very filling, prefer the size at four leaves. I tried them at Coffee bean tealeaf, cafe cartel, but not fresh. Will check out cedele one....
Take a bite. Just one. Ok, a big one. But savor it. Do that thing where you chew it 50 times, but in between each chew, taste it. Chew. Taste. Chew. Taste. And on and on until you’re just tasting mush, or more likely you’re just tasting saliva. You’re still not ready for a second bite though. I want you to think about that first bite. Was it good? Hell yeah it was good. Now express how that bite made you feel using at least two differnt mediums of art. I made a pasta necklace mobile. Unfortunately I ate it since I was hungry waiting for the next bite so there’s no picture.
omg why do you have so many scones there!
and who eats scones everyday even if it's ur fav food! ![]()
anyone bakes his/her own scones? i've never tried... a bit lazy... and it's depressing to bake such yummy stuff when no one is free enough to come and have afternoon tea with you ![]()
The Choco scone with walnut tastes good.

Got! Pullman Bakery :D
So ah what else do you all eat that's from Four Leaves? I always buy mushroom ham bun.
But Four Leaves these days doesn't seem as good as it used to be... though it's just a general feeling.
They used to do banana donuts, which I always bought, too. But no more. :(

.....actually I always buy their An Pan (tau sar) & Tuna Bun, that's how I came to know about scones which are good. Unfortunately, the present day an pan/tuna standard drop lioa, the filing not as thick and full like last time. Maybe cut cost, the filling also cut, like eating air..no shiok..... Instead I now go for their scones. Sometimes still buy the slice sandwich bread, super soft! For tuna bun, Breadtalk better, especially fresh from the oven
