Unfortunately, the present day an pan/tuna standard drop lioa, the filing not as thick and full like last time. Maybe cut cost, the filling also cut, like eating air..no shiok..... Instead I now go for their scones. Sometimes still buy the slice sandwich bread, super soft! For tuna bun, Breadtalk better, especially fresh from the oven
ohh i buy the cranberry loaf too...
i've never tried breadtalk's tuna bun. Also always buy the tuna bun from four leaves (mini one), but I'll try the breadtalk one next week since you mentioned it ![]()

......remember to choose the freshly bake one. Those left on the self for a long time is hard and dry, not nice. The curry bun also popular, likewise choose fresh one, really yummmmmmy!
Which curry bun? The breaded one that's a copy of what they have over at Pullman Bakery?

Since you were there every morning, did you try it freshly out of the oven? It's irresistable!
The curry itself is not much to shout about, but cos I don't know how to make bread, so I think it's quite a feat to be able to put curry into a bun and not have it seep through into one soggy mess.
I love the combination. It's comfort food!

First time I tried it when it was freshly out in the afternoon, it was special... 2nd time I tried it, it was okay okay... The apple bread (not apple pie) also quite nice... but breakfast no hab... only later then have...
There's a circular bread, on top got a egg + becon de... Inside got cream cheese... when freshly out of the oven is FWAHHHHHH OMG~~~~~~ Can be found near the bagel section...
and oh... the fresh chocolate mini crossiant is simply irresistable...
sssshhhhhh.. ![]()
Cos I've been wanting to go back there FOREVER but no chance! I either have no chance to go there or when I'm there they're already closing. :(
U know, I usually don't like to eat while walking or when I'm not in a proper eating place, but that day when I bought that curry bun, I just HAD to eat it immediately, so I briskly walked out of one of the Milenia exits that leads to a more secluded side of the building and took two big bites!
Tried Breadtalk's tuna bun today!
It was very soft... but not fluffy. Stuck to my teeth quite badly. But the filling was full and moist and more flavorful than Four Leaves.
I still prefer Four Leaves :x cos the tuna bun is small and cute and I like to lick the two mayonnaise spots on top. ![]()
And it doesn't stick to my teeth.

Well, I figure tat place couldn't last long...
Human traffic flow not good... seldom got ppl go there on weekend... so only mainly office crowd...
but they are slightly pricier so office crowd might prefer elsewhere for breakfast...

Can try the curry tuna bun at crystal jade bakery, nice swirling design on the outside skin.
can make your own rotiboy, toast the bread, spread with thick butter and dip it in a cup of thick coffee espresso! ![]()

BreadTalk's bread turn hard next day, not advisable to eat the next day if you want good quality bread. Four Leaves is a better choice. The Four Leaves staff mentioned that the flour they use is from Japan. I have since stopped eating bread from BreadTalk.

.....don't need to wait for the next day, a few hours on the self they are already dry and hard. That's why must pick the right one carefully
I bought mine in the morning before I went to work :p

anyone bakes his/her own scones? i've never tried... a bit lazy... and it's depressing to bake such yummy stuff when no one is free enough to come and have afternoon tea with you
Scones are among the easiest things to bake....and fresh homemade ones are totally delicious.
I suggest including glace cherries. :D
here in england scones are very common...the main problem is do you apply jam before clotted cream...or clotted cream before jam :)

and also do you cut your scones into half, spread your cream/jam onto it and bite the whole thing or do you break off chunks using a fork, then spread cream/jam onto it? ![]()
