My favorite is Old Chang Kee!
1A is quite nice too.
Tip Top has been touted to be the best curry puff in Singapore. Haven't tried it myself though...
And of the lesser known ones, Fong's Special Curry Puff at Clementi is good too.
I like it better when the curry puff has egg in it.
Where are the other good curry puffs you know of?
I rike OCK de ![]()
A stall in old airport Road FC... opposite the bianco court kway chup stall...

Some random ones i buy at the halal stores can be very good, but I like OCK too. Yes, the reliability of the egg and a good amount of filling hooks me.
Cannot remember where was it, good offering of eggs and chicken meat

How not to be in the lead when they are everywhere, dominating the curry puff market here.
At the old Geylang Serai Temp Market, there was a really good curry puff stall: Merpati Putih Epok-Epok
It was very crispy and 'fresh'-tasting.
I'm not sure whether it has moved to the new Geylang Serai Market opposite Joo Chiat Complex, though.
M Hotel is better for the jipunese food... IMO...
me got time will go there hoot the kalipok try try...
I like the 1A Crispy puffs. Jurong point got one branch.
omg you guys are making me hungry again. and i just had lunch. OCK ftw!!!
I just ate a 1A curry puff. Oishi !!!
Tip top has been around even before I entered kindergarten. OCK was good, when it had only 1 stall, at the old rex theatre, then they franchised and sold fried pastry like now.
Selera was my favourite but since its nearing extinction, I have to say tip top.
same i like OCK one
I crave for curry puff now.
OCK is not too bad; rare to find the vegan ones in sg
one weakness of modern curry puffs is the thick crust....it should be thin, crispy and the contents are savoured more readily than having to drown by the thick flour

OCK not bad too.
The queue at OCK very long.
Tip Top my fav!
OCK crust not as fragrance as TT
Another one at Marine Parade Central Hawker centre... got no egg inside but freshly hand made, the curry paste really good, better than OCK

Agreed. That is the main weakness of OCK: the crust is just too soft and thick.
A good curry puff is one that has a thin and crispy crust, like that Malay curry puff I described earlier. Eggs are optional, but they are a good addition.
Also, they must not deep-fry it for too long. I hate extremely-oily curry puffs where the oil seeps into the filling.
OCK is bad, mass produced pile of tasteless puff. ![]()
The egg is so plasticky, it's like they have been kept in the fridge for at least 1 week. ![]()
i neber liked OCK.
