  in my opinion, Sly is too much of a poser, trying to keep up his "bad-boy rock-star" image. Taufiq is definitely the better singer, anyone who saw their performance and who is unbiased will definitely agree with me. But packaging-wise, Sly has an advantage( duno why these girls are swooning all over him? ) and he will probably go on to have more success.
  Anyway, just happy to see that even his legions of teenage girl fans cannot save Sly today and a worthy winner has emerged. And no, I am not jealous or biased or anything or the sort.

  I've never caught a Singpore Idol episode til today, so i can say i'm unbiased
  
  Taufik is obviously the better vocalist. He's also friendly, and can sing in a variety of genres.
  
  The brides thing was ... kinda cute... but 2 of them in braces... urm... ^_^
  
  Sly... as he's fondly called, reminds me of Bon Jovi. He can sing, though not as well as Taufik, and wah... did you catch him making all that 'cool' gestures?
  
  No doubt he can easily charm the wits out of any girl.
  
  But i don't know... after the show ended my Mom showed me a small article saying Sly was rude... and put on airs, refusing to sign autographs for people, while Taufik gladly did so.
  
  I guess it shows eh? Who's more popular?
