Haahaa..you r rite Devil, after the lucky draw until i went back to home still cant sleep.
but anyway many thanks the organisors can meet up so many new friends from forumites.

another great event to end the year 2004.
found myself quite tired when i got home, perhaps due to standing for almost the entire day.
credits have to go to:
nick, for sharing his experiences in organising a bbq
joho and bear with their professional photography skills
devilangel, for his flawless accounting (no audit done so far)
froggie and his effort to source such wonderful food
baseline for his PR and marketing effort
erijazz's help in facilitating us with the necessary equipments
sthu + sunny + sisleen for their relentless chef work
churra and her presbyopic ability to track everyone joining the event
and most importantly, the attendees, for being so sporting and cooperative.
though it was raining in an irregular manner, i must say that the weather has been kind.
it was frustrating initially when introduction was repeatedly disrupted. organisers were feeling extremely bad for making the crowd running in and out of the shelter.
fortunately, when the game commenced, the weather became prefectly fine.
the first game was captain ball and the teams made it rather competitive. most of the rounds had no distinct winner until the very last minute. many players slipped and fell but still sportingly recovered and continued with the game.
the second game was one-legged challenge. i must say it was a big freaking mess but an intended one. i couldnt think of many other games that could involved so many people simultaneously. although messy, i had all the helps from the crowd, assisting to spot the disqualified.
before the final game, 3 out of 4 teams were having a tie.
after a few hours of bbq, we had scavenger hunt to help everyone digest, and to decide the winning team for the day.
undisputedly, the winning team emerged, amazing everyone with the items they collected, including a pool ball.
the event did not end with just a lucky draw, but with how the losing team made to pose for photography.
again, a big salute to the losing team for sportingly doing their forfeit even when that mean having to bare their uppper torso.
the tagline of this event is to "know them all in one day", i hope you folks had got to know all the new friends you wanna in the event. -

at a point of time, i assigned some of the new participants when i notice an imbalance, without noting them down. -
