  Take it from someone who has worked in Singtel before.
  
  ALL them ISPs take their lines from Singtel/Singnet. Leasing the line and re-leasing the lines out to end users. So just that the one u prefer/giving most gifts/cheapest now. Coz end of the day, ur still paying Singtel..

  i have used pacific adsl 512kbps for a few yrs b4 UPGRADING to this singnet 1500 plan .. sad to say singnet sux .. the 1st few weeks it is still good .. but it got worst then 512k . now my whole com lags n the connection speed doesnt differ much from wat i had with pacific , i oso feel tat pacific is more stable .. was so pissed with singnet at times ..

  got one time Pacific threatened me with legal proceedings cuz I owe them money. they said something like "I sincerely hope we would not have to charge you with legal proceedings blahblahblah"
  
  wtf? someone threaten to sue me?!?!?!
  
  since then me and pacific werent buddies anymore

  I switched from Maxonline to Singnet because it was so damn unstable and my connection lags big time during peak hours.
  
  Anyway I have no complaints about Singnet so far and their technical support has been very good so far. They fix my problems fast and always follow up 2 weeks later to be sure everything is ok.
  
  I think there will be good and bad experiences with any provider so it's really up to you.

  finally one singnet supporter...hmm..
  
  for nearly 4 year, maxonline hardly cos me any problem. i only call up few time when server down. and inform by the starhub that my area doing server maintain.

  I dunno why but the connection to the USA servers for Maxonline sucks during peark hours for me. And because I game it makes a hell lot of difference because it is not funny when your charc dies because of lag.

  you dao li, i also kana laggy when i playing L2 .
  
  singnet is more stable in this case i think for playing online game.

  From I know, e.g. in a area, some singnet users gets usually good bandwidth while others don't, for it's due to inherent limitation nature of their network architecture design. Not that they don't know, but they have not much choice.
  So it really depends on your luck.
  
  as for the service singnet provides, from my experience so far, their level 2 support sucks, but their level 1 is good...maybe some people are more fortunate than me.

  however, they are not good with retaining customers
  
  pacnet is good in their business plans
  
  starhub is good at giving goodies
  and their CRM is good too
  they interlink their internet, tv, mobile services and extend promos horizontally
  
  line-wise all the same
  cos all 3 come from one backbone line underground
