yes, they do sit on one backbone. but in the context of committed bandwidth distribution to each neighbourhood, it's based on their infrastructure designs. There's a huge difference between a committed bandwidth and the highest bandwidth given. committed bandwidth means the ISP promises to give that rate always.

bloody, 1500 upgrade to 2000 but upload speed still the same.
oh well at least i can download more things at once now. no wonder recently my BT downwidth keep on exceeding 200kb range, i still tot the program playing punk with me

dont understand. my firefox download can reach 1100-1300kb/s for some site. (19mb only need less than 1 min)
other website usually got 180kb/s now also got 240-300kb/s.
now i flying at maxonline2000... -
