hey relac lah. Though im having a tough time but i would have guess certain level of teasing and jokes would be inevitable once i post a thread like this....
i was hoping to find a similar forum which my wife did and try to "counter snook" her..... -
I do have a lot of friends who are single Japanese coming to Singapore to work.
There is a myth that you need to know Japanese to know them, but the truth differs.
Many of them told me that they prefer Singapore Guys because of the way they are being treated by them.
One tip.....when you try to chat them up, speak slowly. (you need to assume first they do not understand english.)
After that, it all depends on yourself and whether she like you or not. -

I dun speak japanese at all accept commonly spoken ones which i have learnt from the vcds which i had to watch while my parents are asleep during my younger days........
i agree totally with edenboy about their preference for singaporean men in the aspect where we are more....sensitive (or ch33 hon9).
Btw my wife is very thrifty and will only explode once she goes back to her hometown for a shopping spree. In her words - singapore clothings looks cheap. -
