did you read the news properly? NUS is top 20 depending on what course you are at...social science and something else is top 20. The rest, forget it.
nus not good at all...or else, y do you see companies hiring overseas grad instead? and why are more prestigious scholarship given to overseas grad? think think think -
Not getting the most prestigious scholarships does not make the uni not good, it just means that it is not the best, which is true in NUS' case. NUS' isn't the best university around but they ain't lousy. As for companies hiring overseas grad, does that mean that NUS grads are not being hired? But strangely, 80+% of NUS grads were hired 3 mths upon their graduation leh. Yes, overseas grads are being hired, and these grads who actually edge out local grads are those who came from Ivy League Unis or other top unis around the world (Of cos there are always some exceptional case, but I'm talking about the general case). NUS definitely do not match up wif these unis (they rank higher or on par with NUS). NUS is the top 20 Uni and this is an overall rating. Oh yah and I agree that NUS is a damn hot place. And NUS's infrastructures look really old and pathetic. NUS looks like a shabby village compared to SMU's new campus haha -

Depends on which faculty you are in... The NUS infrastructure is in need of a serious overhaul just take some of the benches along Engine block for instance... they are pathetic...
I couldnt get the centennial mug cos i still having IA... hope to get it soon once i get back
Dont worry if u havent got the mug.. its valid for all NUS students for one year... just remember to bring matric card... as to where to collect depends on which fac -
