ON or OFF?

If I use my laptop like from 9am till 11pm on most days, in between I'll take lunch break, dinner break, and watever breaks, is it better for me to just leave the computer on, or is it better to turn it off, dring the breaks?
In other words, which is worse? To leave it on for long hours? Or turn it on and off, on and off many times? -

But here are what I normally think.
Use your own electricity. Off + 2 pt
Over clock your CPU. On + 3 pt
With wireless internet. Off + 3 pt
Share your Files. On + 5 pt (and tell me what you share)
Location without Air Con. Off +1 pt
Laptop without sleep or power save feature. Off + 4pt
Startup takes too long. On +2 pt
Connect to many outside component. Off + 4 pt

mine lasts for 3, 4 hours? hm.... not sure.
of course it's rechargeable, just slot it in when you use electricity, it will auto charge. -

Leave it on loh.
If you phobia, put on standby during breaks.
If you more phobia it won't wake up from standby, just turn off the monitor..
I leave mine on 24/7 for the week if d/l needs to be done. I use an external cooling fan to keep my hdd running at a comfortable 35degrees celcius at all times.
