Computer Wiz needed...What actually happen?

Ok, here is the problem...My computer auto restart randomly. There is no warning or anything...it just restart randomly... Any idea what happen?
I changed the power supply today but it seem that its not working.... Thanks! need help!!!

IRQ... hmmm hardware conflict? .. did u add any new hardwares recently?

try system recovery.

try boot in safe mode then if u manage to go into windows, uninstall any newly installed program (try to recall what is the latest thing u did to oyur computer) or drivers or drivers for any nehardware added or newly added hardware and see how. Make sure ur comp not connected to the internet at any time while u are troubleshooting the fault.

did you add or fiddle any hardware recently?
dust and heat could also cause such problems. -
1) Go BIOS setup, reset everything to factory default.
2) boot into Windows, open Device Manager and look for any "exclamation mark". If found, rectify the problem. -
Hmm I've got this problem too... Probably the problem with the graphics card... MIght be loose or not in place? Or damaged as well...

2 possible causes (there may be others, but these 2 are common):
1. Hardware: Memory fault (check RAM or mainboard sockets). Can use Memtest86 to test.
2. Software: Faulty device driver (usually nVidia). Download latest graphics card drivers from manufacturer website. See Microsoft Support article for technical details.

yr computer must be over heated ...... go cmos to see the temperature and also chk whether the cpu fan is running .......
my comp was over heat last time ... coz the cpu fan spoil ... -

I encountered this problem just only with my bro's computer using XP pro
Auto restart, keep going to this screen
Sometimew will shut down it self.
NOT POWER supply!!
IT is your motherboard, motherboard voltage Intermitten!!
Meaning it is flucuating inconsistently causing the lack of power voltages to your motherboard CPU, cache and stuff causing it to shut down.
SO MEANING your motherboard can go find new one liaoz..

physical damages or if your parts are not working can be clearly identified. i guess the thread starter should be the one most suited to come to a conclusion and seek proper help or help himself/ herself by replacing parts or removing nelwy installed programe/s.
if the computer successfully booted pass the bios, i dare say your mainboard is okay. after that the biggest and most possible defect shall be the hard disk...and this one is a disaster! graphics card will affect your performance if they are bad and just like the ram, tthey can be detected for physical fault or compatibility during boot up (coz they are the formost hardware that the mobo communicate with).
how long have you been using your comp? any lagging in performance or did you stretch your comp to the limit recently? remove your hard disk power connector and power on your system (dun worry if your hard disk is not detected coz a message will only show indicating that no hard disk is found after which the bios' flashed you can just switch off your system). if your comp successfully boot pass the bios....ur mainboard's okay. -

Here is error msg....
If you got more than 1 piece of ram, try taking all of them out and test them one by one. Put in one piece of ram at a time to test if the error still occcurs. The piece of ram where the error msg occurs is the one that is faulty, go and get it swap or repaired.

Maybe you can try and tell everyone if you had changed any software settings, hardware and also what you did just before that happened...

NO......most of you all are wrong.
that is a typical "blue screen". I got it many many times, but its ok.
this occurs when there is a device in conflict with your computer....most probably a "new" modem or graphics card or something.....
this causes the conflict and sets the computer into a safety function known as the memory dump..... (NOTE: DO NOT switch off the computer while the program is DUMPING!!!!, else you may corrupt the computer data or cause it to crash, just let it run finish).
The way to remedy this is to check through the device manager or download new drivers, if its hardware, then too bad, the particular modem or graphics card or something is not compatible with your computer set up.
This is correct as i found the thread in the intel problems and solution pages while i had the problems sometime back. -
