anyone here work until half dead and feel like quitting

Hi, just want to know anyone here who is very unhappy in his/current job and feel like quitting, don't feel like going to work everyday etc.
somtimes it's really cannot tahan the job but colleagues nice and location and environment is something you like, then you kind of hestitate whether to stay or go.
I been through that once, got a job in city area, nice colleagues and environment but the job very very stressful.
Then i quit, wah, kind of miss the place after that, aiyo. end up getting another job deep in Tuas. Took quite some time to get used to the very strange environment.
i suppose it will take time getting used to

I've left that environment and now i'm so slack and happy. But....a stressful environment can give you a competition edge, not like now, soooo damn slack then before..

worked 24 hrs last sunday. Start from 8.30 am Sunday to 8.30 am Monday.
I only had 2 breaks for lunch and dinner. So for the rest of the week, feel quite sh|tty. Oh I don't get paid OT or anything. For the whole 24 hour support, I get paid SGD$60
Then is back to work by noon on monday. -

worked 24 hrs last sunday. Start from 8.30 am Sunday to 8.30 am Monday.
I only had 2 breaks for lunch and dinner. So for the rest of the week, feel quite sh|tty. Oh I don't get paid OT or anything. For the whole 24 hour support, I get paid SGD$60
Then is back to work by noon on monday. So forgive me if I am b!tchy all the time. yeah work is hard to find, but to work like this is not worth my medical bills. My colleague not that nice. She's the acting mgr and at one point escalate an issue to her. Wanted her to be my eyes cause I cannot access an application. She refused to help, tell me to go contact the new team lead in UK. The UK team lead blur like sotong tell me go find his UK team member. So WTF, I gave up and solve the thing with my operations. -

I'd pay $60 to avoid that! See doctor plus blood pressure medication already much more than that.

Mine is the other way around, good job good benefits, surrounded by assh0 colleagues. The problem with good jobs is all the AH tend to collect like dirt in corners. The good ones are headhunted and leave, leaving the AH.
Now sian, thinking of quitting cause working with AH is stressful, as misty pointed out.
Stay or go?? Up to you loh, but find something first. -
no point quitting. not easy, if not impossible, to find a job that pays well, have a good boss, good colleagues, good environment. either one is definitely there to make you miserable.

my company made losses in terms of millions this qtr and as usual, heads will roll. Only those heads are always people at the bottom of the org. The top folks keep their position and
its been announced years back the company will outsource entire IT dept.
This is happening in phases. Last qtr, we lost the developers. Previously, we lost call center/helpdesk/we lost network/SA and etc. Its not a matter of I want to stay or not. eventually I will be asked to go. I am not "value" added, "profit center". No matter how well I do, with all the politics where people are sacrificing each other to save their own jobs... I guess I am mentally prepared. Anyways, I've been depressed with my job for 3 years liao. I don't think it can go any lower. -
i quit because i cannot stand my boss, incidentally a woman. now have a hard time looking for a job because of my age.
