One of fren also super lucky, electrical diploma only, alr draw 5 K per month when he was 25yrs old doing IT .. backend support.. he resigned to venture into sales but CMI... jobless for 2 years liao...

i joined stat board right out of poly, engr dip. starting pay 1910. annual incre abt 140. After 2 years, i resigned to go into the industry, my basic dropped to only 1.8k but the offset is covered by lots and lots of OT. It depends on what you want and your lifestyle. If you basically do not have a life then work in a place with lots of OT even if the basic is low. If u treasure your weekends and dun like to stay back late then get a higher basic salary job lor.

during sch holidays i work in factory temp-job.. mon to friday 12 hrs a day $6 per hr.. n i get 1440 a mth wif no qualification..

eh how come last time all the underachivers in school always seem to be the ones earning the money???? my uncle only 28 and got o levels nia... now workin in thai land as the company's vice president.... every month get 7k without allowence.... and oh what courses do u guys advise a person to take if he's applying for buissness??? i thinkin of goin business or info tech... but heard pay damn jia lat one....

Tats becus they cant take e stress. U hv 2 sacrifice a certain amount if u r earnin a handsum salary. As 4 if it last, its hw much work u put in. I always believe in hard work, nt luck. In e beginning, luck plays a part, but after u enter e company, it hw u prove urself worth 2 e company. 90% hard work, 10% luck. Where we end up in our career at e end of the dae, is gauge by hw much hard work we put in, nt hw mani times we rely on luck. -
maybe the people you have met is different. i have colleagues that make $5k and above but sit there doing nothing. hardwork dont always pay. i have seen enough hardworking people losing their job because they dont suck up to people.
