1) Considering the new rules they are having, I don't think you can make when you sell it as a resale in the future unless you're lucky. Then again the market is still low now so maybe.Originally posted by tomhunk:in a dilema..hope the brothers here can advise..

HDB offers a unit at sembawang, executive flat, 2nd storey.. selling at 261 k...near to sembawang mrt & sun plaza...130 square metres.,place is quite nice...though my fiancee and I can afford..what is holding us back are these questions:
1) next time when want to sell, will we make a lost ?
also considering fact that is is 2nd floor..
2) 2nd floor any disadvantage like dripping water from laundry...?? smell from rubbish chute even though the unit is not directly under the main chute?
3) in the afternoon sun is shining at the block but not too bad block by trees..
Oh great u r here at the right time, i'm given a choice to buy an old point block flat, its 20 yrs old, very big n spacious, 5 rm, 23 floor. Is it advisable to buy the flat for the long run?? Or buy the small squezzy new flat??Originally posted by activator:ok .... i have been a pty agent for 5 years...and my suggestion to u is dont buy e-flat!!!
Bigger size hses always DIFFICULT to sell in the mkt!
In my opinion, I don't foresee the economy back to pre-Asian financial crisis period.....too many factors nowdays against us.Originally posted by elindra:BUt thing is not popular now doesn't mean it won't be popular when the economy picks up down the road also![]()
