All I got was $50 a week in poly till i graduated. And thats if I was lucky.

I planning to ask $6 a day from my lao bu and $6 a day from my lao peh.
I know one of them wont give....so this means:
$6 X 25= $150
I think should be good enough. If not enough I can always take up the job that pays $100 per hour. -

Oh...I forgot to add that I pay handphone bills of $15 per month and transport fees of $45 per month(Train concecssion Pass). I guess earning this $60 shld be quite easy. Half an hour on the job should suffice

My father could not afford to sent me to Poly in 1993, because my elder & younger brother also qualify for Poly at the same time. I went to work instead.
In 2001, I managed to apply for sponsorship to get into Temasek Poly. In 2004, I got my diploma.
Allowance? Never heard of!! -
