Well now i'm getting 200 but transport and clothing excluded.Its enough just for meals and abit of entertainment however if you are one of those weekend cheongsters or those that just like hanging around outside try to get 300 or more excluding transport.damn izzit ex!

i get $200/mth. its a decent amount already. plus i work during the weekends during my time to earn extra income. parents are parents, not ATM.

feeder bus to sch everyday.. walk home..
was stayin with my aunt tat time.. n it helped that they cook every night
right now... spending around 400 every mth... on food n transport

200 bucks for me, transportation and extra quirks like movies are normally sponsored. so i roughly get the 10 bucks per day, but i don't save.. lol..

$400 a mth. incl. transport is reasonable for guys cos they eat more.
The schooling hours are also very long compared to the past.
Sometimes u have to eat lunch & dinner at sch.
Also nowadays everything (from transport to movie ticket) has increased.
A Macdonald meal cost almost $6, hawker food cost $4 (incl. drinks).
The kids nowadays lunch at Cafe Cartel, Swenson, Coffee Bean- not cheap, meals are over $10. -

Is it advisable to spend money on clothes in poly? Im thinking of just buying the $5 basic tees from baleno and wear a different colour to school everyday. Like that save money

Hmm...that sounds like a great Idea! If I wear a jacket, nobody knows what is the colour of my T shirt! So I just need to buy a jacket and 10 pieces of a black T shirt. dere was once when i saw the director walkin to my direction, i did an about turn... n went up to level 2 den i saw him again! i went up to level 3.. den slowly climb down to level 1..
a fren saw me... n she commented that it looks very funny -
seriously, $200 a month for average teenagers is more than enough. those getting $400+ is way too much. if i can pay for my monthly transport, eat lunch, play CS almost every day and save some money out of my $200 during my poly days, i don't see the reason why one must get so much money from their parents.
