I went for the op in 2003. It costs me ard $10k.
Hands are normal now, with a little side effect of extra sweating at the abdomen area. But do note that, side effects are different for different persons. -

I guess the price difference could be due to a number of factors:
a. the year it was done
b. which hospital
c. which doctor -

I oni know that it is called key-hole surgery in layman terms. Supposedly named because the "cut" is like the size of a keyhole. Then lasers are used to "numb" the sweat glands.
I think the major costs of my op was due to the doctor himself. He is quite a well-known neurosurgeon in Gleneagles - Dr Lee KH. I'm not sure if his charges are lowered recently.

I have the same problem too...sometimes if I do pushup on wooden or smooth surfaces, my front hands just slip...good thing I'm watching out for that or my head will bang the floor...

the 1st 1-2 days it seems to stop but now is back to normal...but now weather very hot...must consider also. then my palms like got a layer of 'skin'...hmmmmm. then every morning i must refrain from rubbing my eyes cos got chemical and must quickly go wash off. else wait i put the 3 pills of Nitrix on my palm and hop into mouth to eat like before will ganna poisoned.Originally posted by charmmm:applied driclor last nite.. but now still sweating leh..

Used 2 hav sweaty palms during primary school. my books will get wet when writing.Not havin it anymore seems dat it's cured by itself as i grow older. Quote of the day( It's better 2 hav sweaty palms than 2 hav sweaty armpits)
