*Criterias*

I guess for most of us at some point in our lives we are either trying to meet or reach criteria set by the society and likewise I believe most of us be it consciously or subconsciously we do set a set of criteria to be met by our potential better half.
Eg. for some they would insist that their better half be taller and older (for the case of some female) and for some guys maybe someone who would be submissive and preferably with long silky mane. Well, these are just some examples ...
So what about you folks out there ? Did you set criteria for your future partner ?
and what are the kind of people that you would never be caught dead with ? -

he doesn't have to be handsome... as long as i dun dread seeing his face... means he is Kan De Shun Yan... taller than me would be good... cos i already very short... haha
dun have to be rich... but must got Shang Jing Xin... dun always stay home and complain no money... dun have to own a car... public transport also quite easy these days...
what i wan is just someone that can Gou Tong with me... people might think i'm naive... but well... that's my problem...

I used to have criteria, but when I meet him, I forgot all about them. It is too long a list anyway, and now I realize that it can be shortened to,"I must love him and he must love me back the same way if not more."
Everything else falls into place after that -

someone who can give sensible advice.. and point it out to me when i'm about to make a very idiotic decision
someone who can take good care of me
someone who can cook
someone who can play with me

My only criteria is that, he likes me and must also be an intelluctual guy.

I used to haf alot of criteria:
1. Muz be driven.
2. Muz be my academic equivalent.
3. Muz earn the same/more than me.
4. Muz be able to keep my interest in conversations.
5. Muz dress decently & presentably.
6. Muz be able to offer solutions to my problems.
My guy has none of the above, compared to my exes. He has a whole lotta other qualities tt more than make up for tt. And he's the 1 I love the most.

someone who loves me as much as i love her...
1 criterion only...
no need so many criteria one...
machiam like choosing fish in market...
flesh muz be firm...
eyes muz be bright...
blah blah blah...
for communication part...
when in love...
if really in love...
will naturally be good at communicating with her one... -
Well the reason why I put up this thread is because I've come to realize that a couple of my friends were trapped by the very criteria that they have set for their better half.
It just sets me thinking, if only they are willing to liberate themselves from these very set of criteria that's entrapping them otherwise the chances of them getting together would just slip them by. -

As for me....feeling counts the most....its like....I used to like this gal....pretty and all....but I feel that we dont really click on a personal basis....so I didnt do anything else....just that she still has a soft spot in my heart....
