Aha that's bad, I had the shuttin down virus the last time and had to really re-whatever-u-call-it the com. Yeah and that norton anti virius didn't work. So now I get adware filter, the trial version which somehow stayed in my com for like a month, and now it's gone, but it did rid or some spyware adware stuff. And the Yahoo anti-spy thing. and norton to do the virius.

If nothing works so far, ask a friend to burn for you a Linux LiveCD like Knoppix. Its a full featured operating system (including multimedia players, web browsers, document makers, cd/dvd burner, etc) you can run from the CD. Nothing will be installed nor modified. When inside, mount your hard drive partition and hopefully the files are still there. You can access the files and burn any impt ones to another CD for a backup. Then reformat.
