actually i feel dun close better. put it this way, if you wanna go out you will go out if you dun want you wont the gate sin't really a big deterent esp i see the gates so many hand and foot holds so tempting to climb. so its better not close cos the kids might just get injured from climbing so to reduce unneccessary injuries..........Originally posted by ORIGAMIST:May be this is all part of her growing up experience. Its the girl's responsibility. The school got 1000 over students, don't tell the school have to be responsible for each and every student? Students who do not obey the school rules should be punished, to be fair.

Parents nowadays are too protective & too ready to blame others esp the sch. teachers.
Security cameras are manned by humans who need to take breaks.
The only way is for teachers to take attendance during lectures & at the end of the day.
The girl is at fault for playing truant.
Her parents should counsel her & find out the reason why she is skipping sch.
