Me? Abcess lah...at the most moist and warm place on my body somemore.

It was a really funny situation because the doctor was my brother's friend. He had to cut a slit 10 cm long and 4 cm deep to drain out the pus....and due to the location, he couldn't stitch it back, so I just had to bleed for days and wait for the wound to close.
For this operation, I was given an epidural (an injection through the spinal cord, directly into the nerve column). The stupid anaesthetist must have been inexperienced - young and not chio also. She did it 3-4 times before she finally got it in. And when she finally did, I jumped (I wasn't warned to be prepared for it). The nurses all went "woah!!! keep still please" (they were afraid that the needle would break).
Next, came the propping up of my legs. Imagine me, a male, being in a gynae's chair with my legs propped up. I told the stupid doctor that my family had a history of not reacting to anaesthesia....but he didn't believe me. So he was chit-chatting with the nurses and once in a while would stab me with some sharp object to see if I would go "ouch!". After a while, he said "er....we'll wait a while more and if it doesn't work, maybe we should try GA on you".

Fortunately, it never came to that.
What's more weird is that halfway through the operation, a nurse came to ask me "Hey, you are so and so right? Do you remember me? I used to be your neighbour and we used to play together. I know your whole family.".

After the operation, I was carted back to my ward. An Aussie nurse dressed me up again. To put in my sleeves, she had to roll me left and right (by pushing and pulling my body). When she pulled me towards her, my face was about 1 foot from her butt....and I could see the blonde hair on her thighs, her panties, everything! Fortunately, the epidural was still in effect, so I think there was no reaction there.....or else she would've noticed.
Lucky this one doesn't seem to be recurring....wouldn't wanna go through it again.
All the while, I'm thinking that I'll never have the guts to go through what a woman goes through when giving birth.
