Help! I deleted my Control Panel...

  I deleted my Control Panel by mistake, now can't have access to My Computer, My Documents and lots of folders. Anybody knows what I can do besides sending it for repair or reinstalling the OS?

  Well, I accidentally pulled the Control Panel into my desktop, and since I don't want it there, I pulled it into Recycle Bin, but didn't clear it. Next thing I know, can't access Control Panel, not even the recycle bin

  My computer
  Under menu select Tools and then folder options
  General tab
  Under tasks, check "show common tasks in folders.
  
  Can you see a link to the control panel now?

  u are using window XP ? if yes , pls go to start bar and can you see a control panel icon there? if not , pls reboot yr computer.

  login on another profile, copied ur data from the old profile. delete the problem profile. recreate that profile.

  Enter Safe mode via F8 on booting

  Right click on start button
  Select properties
  Start menu tab
  Click on "Customize"
  You do the rest.

  Reboot as in Restart? The control panel is in the start bar, but once I click on it, the whole screen goes blank, then returns to normal again, same when I click on the recycle bin, my computer, my documents, etc.
  
  In short, the only stuff I can access are Program files, and files on my desktop which are not in a folder.
  
  Change profile? As in log off? I think I have only 1 profile leh.. how?

  I tried System restore as well, no help..
  
  Hey Ditzy! I can access the Control panel as a menu now, thanks! But the other folders still don't work..
