Of course, if you're talking about 1 +(n) 1, where n is not 2, then the answer is 2, otherwise when n = 2, the answer is 0.

There's a notation called + subscript n, meaning the answer is the remainder of the number after it's divided by n.
Got * subscript n also, but no minus or divide since they are not commutative nor associative. -
