why i think $100k is not "high income"... bcos it seems to be the normal salary range after 5-6 yrs at work for some of the jobs... refer to the following thread which discusses salaries in Spore...

do be misled. how many people can make $100k after 5-6 yrs? only a small percentage of the workforce.

And if you subtract the ~ 0.9M population less than 20 years old, you get ~ 1 in 24 working adult earning more than 100K.

That 689,469 figure did not include those earning less than 20K per annum. That is why I dig out the 3.3M figure from the population censor report. -
