coming back from JB recently, I saw one guy caught by local customs trying to bring a few pieces of pirated software and porn. the poor guy was wihite as a ghost and frightened to death! interestingly the police let him off with a warning. the scanner they use is quite powerful. those guys knew I had 2 cds in my bag and I had to to show them to prove that they're not pirated.
moral of the story is....still safer to buy from local pirates. -

Well that guy's dumb enough to carry the CDs with him and putting them thru the scanner. As far as I could see he wasn't even given that! He was a few places ahead of me in the queue. They did take down his particulars so maybe the letter was mailed to him.
