When asked about what they want in life, most of them wants to be a tai-tai.. its alright to dream a little bit, but with 5 out of 4 gals with that thinking, its a bit far-fetched..
With the economy stagnant, how many of them can afford to find a rich hubby/bf? And their rich pales in comparison to your meaning of 'rich'.
Its about having a heart shape swimming pool in district 6, a bed-room thats 2 storey, with a walk-in wardrobes that has 2 changing room.. a bar counter with bartenders, and DJs to spin some musics while the living room on the second floor overlooks the sea..
I am sure guys are more realistic about the future.. why is that so? Is it because girls know that they can obtain their dreams if they 'open' their legs to the 'correct' guy/s?

I got a lot of male friends who refused to go steady because they don't have transports.. Why is that so ? you asked.. that question is rhetorical.. so they want convenience? why don't they learn to cook? Its so convenience to eat at home..
Anyway, if guys can be realistic and work hard for the future, why not the girls? Instead of looking forwards to be tai-tai.. -

Are you guys talking about tai-tai with a maid to take care of the household duties and childcare? Or a housewife that has to do housework, cook, clean and raise kids?
In the US, there are not many women who want to be tai-tais. Most are either working moms or stay-at-home moms. Some stay-at-home moms work at home to bring in some $ to supplement their husbands' income. Maids are not often used in US households unless you are super rich like those celebrities. -
nah.. they dont have full time maids here in the us but they have alot of part time maids.. that come in whenever you need them to.. just fix appointment etc.. and tell them what u want them to do.. like most of the time.. they call the nannys in to ask them to help clean the floor.. do dishes and etc.. although most of the times now they just use dish washers..

Sounds like my sister-in-law. But she is quite rich so she could afford it, plus her house is too big for her to manage herself.
Thanks for reminding me. I forgot about the part-time maids that only come on appt. I was thinking about those live-in maids that some of my singaporean friends and relatives hire who are from other countries.
Or do they still hire those in Singapore? -
Anyway, what I want to know is: are tai-tais you talked about housewives who do housework and raise kids, or married women who don't do a thing? Since tai-tai is a Chinese word to refer to wives of (usually) rich men, I think it would mean the latter?

Me have 4 Singaporean gf before , 2 indonesia and 1 thailand . Lastly I still choose a Indonesia Chinese as a wife ,

Singapore girl too proud of themselves as a Singapore born and always think that other 3rd world country is lower class , Some even never been to the place and from the news they only see the chaos , They never even see the local where they live and have a family , What I can say is that country which surround Singapore have a better mentality in term of having a family . I have been out of job when I work in Indonesia and my gf find way to borrow money and save on everyday spending and the best part she never even argue about not having enough money . She always paint a very good picture as long as I have leg and hand sure we will find a way out . There is many ppl going after her at that time but still she stick with me . She left me when I am comfortable for I am Chinese and she a malay.Her parent object it very long already . It is sad but I donÂ’t want her to be with me leaving her friend , relative and other which is very important to her , she dont want to live in Singapore . Singapore girl always want guy to care and support then and will start to compare other ex bf what they can or did , Worest still , comepare with their friend and always use the best one , They never compare to their which have been cheated or even beat by their bf . I use to have rather pretty gf due to I go for look when going after gf , they would compare what last bf or ppl going after do for them and I cant , They do understand that ppl rich and ppl going after them will always very good to them and after a serious relationship it cant always be the same .
That y in Singapore break off is very normal . many argue started and final is break off and the girl still insisted is guy fault , If a guy always argue this kind of thing with gf , u think how long we guy can take , So when some other gal come into your path we guy normally will give up a bad relationship hopping to get a better one .
