SIM – RMIT BBBA

HI IÂ’ve just completed a diploma in management studies & am looking at enrolling for the RMIT Bachelor of Business in Business Admin offered in SIM.
I’m concerned, however, about how “ recognized” is this degree? Any past studies or current students can offer some advices. My main concern is the job prospects after graduation. I know private degrees will never be in the same league as the 3 local uni (at least for Govt organization) but how is the general prospect of this course.

btw, I am in RMIT BBBA now
they have another course soon, RMIT BAchelor of Business for Business Management
few modules will be changed, and there will be a minor specialisation or minor in addition to the major specialisation or major. -
So how u find the course?
i plan to take business finance specialization.. -
I am taking Business Finance Specialisation
But if you do seriously considers finance, you could look at Econs and Finance Degree as well... -

i doubt INSEAD offers bachelor degrees, i checked it out at their webby before. they offer MBAs, PHDs.

There are people who fly all the way to Aussie to study in RMIT... -
Generally the degree from Australia is recognized in Singapore.
I got frens who had gotten the degree from RMIT in Accounting, another in Econs & Finance.
They are working...that's important.
Most companies are more concern abt your experience esp if u are interested in Accounting and Finance. If you are interested in certain companies, such as the big 4. Of course, you will then worry about the recognition.
Maybe that will help u better. -

in the recent TIMES UK EDUCATIONAL SURVEY of university rankings, RMIT is ranked 55th in the world. NTU is ranked 50. NUS 18th. so i guess, RMIT is not so bad as how some people may presume it to be.
however i am not sure of how RMIT graudates fare in Spore's job market. any RMIT grads or friends of RMIT grads wanna speak and share opinions? -

Curtin in my time, is known to be the most despised Uni in terms of discipline and modules.
My point: People who flys to the home site of the Uni doesn't speak much about the school. It tells me that the person to flew there is rich enough to go. Period.

How far of educational level do you aim to reach? -
Well, its not cheap to study abroad..and it's really time consuming too...i bet they won't just invest their time and money in a worthless cert. Oh btw, I know a couple of people who graduated from RMIT Biz Ad last year, doing quite well with their careers now...
