5mins into the show i tot i was in the wrong theatre, the movie was like made in the 60s, i think it was b/w or some dull colors
15mins later, pple were leaving, end up left me n gf n another old ang moh couple
my gf fell asleep, i was tryin to appreciate from the artistic or retro pov, but i cannot tong, i left ard 1 hr later, tink the ang moh couple appreciate the show though
I watched "The Ten Commandments" in cinemas <- now this is really really a 60s movie. -
haha... I leant my lesson after pluto nash - it sucks worse than a vacume cleaner. In addition, if the show has too much computer graphics. I would not go see, yes I am hinting at starwars. If in the trailer, I see too much action and I notice there is no much storyline, I will keep my money, thank you. This is because all the stuff in the trailer is propably the only good stuff you will see at the end of the movie.
There are many directors out there who have too much free time and there are too many actors out there waiting for the next paycheck for their next liposuction. So they have an excuse to make a lousy movie and con our $$$. -
haha!! Same!! I went into the cinema and and shortly after I thought I was in the wrong cinema. After that, my friend said 'If this is the show Im gonna walk outta here'. I started laughing and said we can move already. The stupid poster showed some disgusting pic and I din even read anything about the movie. The porn flick is named Deep Throat.
The current movie is called INSIDE Deep Throat. There is no misrepresentation here.
Reviews and research are helpful. The Straits Times ran a review of Inside Deep Throat and clearly stated that it was a documentary on the porn film. It would help if you looked out for reviews in other magazines... imdb.com is a convenient site to read up about movies.
Every distributor would sell its movie to the fullest. This may mean flushing out the attractive parts of a movie and omitting the boring ones, but they cannot misrepresent a film, nor can they lie about the producers and directors.
If the movie doesn't meet expectations? Well, every movie's a risk. -

There are times when people are busy or such. Or last min intention to watch a movie. There are lines which tried to create a wrong impression of the movie from the adverts. No doubt every distributor would try their best to sell its movie to the fullest. But it does not justify to delibrately put up a LOUSY show and claiming its worth...
Watching a movie is like buying a product without actually having the rights to see it beforehand... Like me trying to sell oranges in a wrapped up basket to you... I can tell you nice things, but telling you MISLEADING things..? I still feel that such moves just ultimately reflects on one's honesty and reputation...
Of course, then again.. 'Justified' or not is really subjective in different people's eyes. My intention for this thread is simple. There are nails on the floor. Don't step on it...
