I remembered when I entered SP in 2001, flag raising for student union/president's challenge are volunterly and I was busy studying for the Prepartory Mathematics course (I am from DECC who didn't study A Match in sec sch so I am required to self study this course before I enter Poly...) so I didn't take part...
However a few months later, because of a module called Character Education we were required to do selling flags for a charity organisation... -
