One thing i noticed all my life here in Singapore is if u are a foreigner, they tend to treat u better than a local or like some kind of celebrity. Throughout my school life i had it easy with teachers, friends and locals. First thing they see me is to ask , are u a foreigner?

Here's my chance to voice out my opinions about Singaporeans.
About the locals, sometimes i feel they are too engrossed on rote learning and living a one way street kind of life. I had been to many other countries but the people there are more creative tend to be involved in other things. But young people here seem to be spoilt and pampered in a way that they expect a luxurious lifestyle but not living up to it. -

and people rarely speak their minds (some say they don't have minds of their own)...
at work, not having a mind of our own is prized by the senior management
so, there are a lot of people who are shocked when i do talk back to the senior management...
