teachers under fire.... y???

cant help but to ask this in forum although there had been a debate on this quite some time ago...
whenever something goes wrong (involving students) in a school, itz always the teachers that kena... i really wonder why parents nv re-evaluate themselves b4 pointing their fingers...
juz look ard on the streets.. parents allowing their kids to round all over the place, children being rude to maids, children shoving their way through crowds, yelling on top of their voices (even at their parents/grandparents)...
wonder what msg are being sent to the younger gen... haiz -

that's precisely my point... doting is meant to be done at home... when they are in sch, parents shldnt over-protect their children...
and i have noticed the tremendous increase in the number of parents driving not only to the child's school, but also fetching them hm!!!
we cant blame pple when they say gen y is becoming soft... -

i juz wanted to give my 2 cents worth aft watching a tv prog on violence in school... felt indignant that everyone is pushing the teachers to do something abt it whenever there's a prob with students... so who's gonna share the teachers' prob if they meet with terrible students??
teachers are humans too... they deserve a little respect for their bravery to stand in front of the class n teach... if pple say their teachers cmi, they shld reflect if they themselves can make it or not...
but then again, i do admit there are some who can be terrible at conveying their knowledge.. hehe.. i stress that itz their communication techniques hv prob, not their knowledge... -

i agree, and i hope the lesson will be real hard... but then again, there will be some parents who will try to intervene at the slightest thing...
army trg is great for those who take it positively, esp if they are able to withstand hardship and grow from it... -

caps or berets, shoes or boots, i agree the procedure is the same too...
how abt this... teachers used to be able to administer some form of physical punishment if students misbehaved last time... but becoz of a few black sheeps and terrible incidents, they cant do it le, and worse, gotta watch their words, else they risk getting "sued" if the students complain to their parents...
what if our army officers get the same thing? would all the "traditional" scolding be lost??
