i got the sms from some china lumber
saying i win dunno how many million USD
who oso receive?
i got it a few times........at odd hours.......
me jus delete......neber go report to telco or police......
jus saw on the news....
the reporter call the lumber to test water
obviously a hoax......
wonder how my lumber got to their database....... -
my mum got the sms ...
i boliao reply the sms but never reply to me -
by the way, i hold 2 lines
one singtel and one m1
oni my singtel fone got the SMS..........i think 3 times....over a few days..... -

the journalist called to check.
she was told that the transfer fee is $800.
it is obviously a scam. -

it's a scam.. my mom got it today afternoon....
caller: hi, im calling from china n u've won a lucky draw. yes, u've won a car worth $80k (din state currency).
mom: really?
caller: yes.
den dey carry on to tell my mom dat she has to go china personally n collect either the car or the cash (full 80k)
mom: but i got no time to go china. how?
caller: it's okie. u can give us ur bank acct no. n u have to trsf a sum of SGD2k to any china bank. the 2k is for (wadeva) tax for the lucky draw u took part in since it's an overseas thingy. after we got ur SGD2k, we will trsf u the 80k u've won. u can clarify this wif any china bank.
mom: which specific bank actually? or maybe i wld like to have ur number n bank acct so i can trsf u the 2k ASAP in case the money got lost some whr.
caller den tries hard to change topic n divert everything, den tell my mom to trsf the 2k to dem.
mom: but i dun have 2k wif me now. maybe u leave ur contact number den i'll call u back 2mrw?
caller hesitated, den gave a false number. (my mom did tried calling the number.)

the scammer oso not stupid...
