i'd suggest cities with many chinese immigrants, such as melbourne, vancouver, san francisco or more cosmopolitan regions like california and new york, you'll fit in easier. i was mistaken for a local in SF so yea i think it should be alright, if you can stand the homeless tramps and black mobsters and gay population there. but if you're working there remember to keep your s'pore passport so you don't have to pay their explicitly high income taxes.
