The possibility of meeting someone ELSE that's attractive (there's lots of likeable people around) is really high given you have maybe another 40-50 years of life. Secondly.. be prepared for this to happen by preventing possibilities. Nip it in the bud and etc. That' the whole point of commitment right? VEry easy to be committed if you think you live on a planet where everyone else besides both of you are totally gross and monstrous creatures. Unfortunately It's not so.
Lastly, Have you ever considered that the only reason why you are fantasizing about this man is because you don't KNOW him?? (and spend a quick 2 hours with him mebbe once a week) It's very easy to fantasize about a man you don't know. Wait till you hear him fart, belch and complain - and you still fantasize about him - I guess that's when you know you are ready for a serious relationship. -

I do believe love can happen in the most unprepared for and difficult circumstances - but for the same reason that life IS short, maybe it is better to make SURE it IS love before you put yourself in circumstances that will waste the time and emotions that can be much better spent. -
