my last 15 years of working experience tells me all these are bulls.hits. to keep your job all you need is to suck up to your boss.Originally posted by buckbeak:Employee cohesion & integration into community is a must in any organisation.
Who would want to employ someone who will affect their company operations because of :
1) Inability to dress appropriately for different occasions. (Meeting clients etc)
2) Repulsive ugliness (Affect clients who are discriminating)
3) Repulsive behaviour (Dig nose in public, no need to explain that)
4) Unacceptable work attitude
5) Unacceptable personality (Clashes with people easily)
For any equations involving humans, there's always endless amount of variables. Balance is important!
What happened to the old chinese values about employers and workers?Originally posted by SilverPal:Think I've been spending too much time in bar... I read the topic is cumming singapore employers...
Anyway, I believe that once upon a time, employees had some measure of loyalty. There was such thing as a job for life. Employers were a father figure.
Then the real cancer of workplace, outsourcing and retrenchment. No matter how hard you work, upgrade yourself, if it is more profitable to outsource you, or hire a freshgrad over you, the company might do it... That was when employees decided to have loyalty only to themselves...
So employers reading this and talking about staff loyalty, the question is, how loyal your company is to your staff (this question seems like a chicken and egg thing).

How do you know your men are willing to die for you?
Because I am willing to die for them.
