What I've experience is even older than the list. 
The game "kuti kuti" wasn't even mentioned. And then there was that kite flying with the thread coated with glass bits. Also, going to the provision shop with that little 555 booklet to "oh-tang" (credit) on purchases. Bought those Rowntrees and Polo sweets. Go home kena whacked!!!

The tend of going to poly & uni got mainstream in the mid 1990s, the feeling is just not there now for those currently studying for they know things will not be so bright after they graduate....the people who entered tetiary education prior to 2000 had high hopes of having a rosy life....It is sad that everythign changed so fast in a matter of short time for the bleak future ahead....
