facts are facts that most smokers are inconsiderate! do you think if smokers will stop smoking if someone told them nicely to stop it? there was a case where a teenager beaten to death when he told a bunch of bengs to stop in bus 135.
and speaking by your actions by quoting everyone's comments, i dun think you will stop either if someone told you to stop smoking in public either.
i dun mind if smokers who wish to quit smoking but their weak mind prevail them, but i hate smokers who think they own the air.

its a choice that we make. as for me, i smoke away from crowd if possible, after all, its personal thing.
but i can see many potential extremist here whether they are pro or anti smoking. that's what make world more scary. dun u think so? -
all this whole online war tingy started becuz of one bloody kiasu ngee ann poly student.i don't have a problem with smokers as long as they don't blow it into my face and i try to stay as far away as possible.they don't claim to own the air its just so bad that you have to share with it them.since when was life fair in the first place.....i see lots of silly arguments which came about as a result of defending one's pride in smoking and non smoking...lets face it,how often do you find smokers who will purposely blow smoke into ur face or near u,they are mostly near the bin.and if you have no business there den stay away unless you are of cuz the kiasu ngee ann student who wants to be the first to board the bus

Come on guys, just because of there are some inconsiderate smokers it doesn't mean that ALL of them are. I don't smoke, and I can't even if I wanted to. I suffer from allergic rhinitis which leaves me susceptible to endless bouts of sneezing whenever I'm exposed to too much dust, chemical fumes, and, yes, cigarette smoke.
That said, I'm fine with being in the presence of smokers so long as they do not:
1). Offer me a ciggy.
2). Intentionally blow smoke in my face.
Blowing smoke in my face is particularly bad. Not only does it threaten to ignite my bouts of sneezing, but is also an incredibly rude and arrogant gesture. We all have freedom of choice, and smokers choose to smoke. However, I also have freedom of choice, and I choose not to inhale second-hand smoke. -
actually me think this topic is dumb too.
I also feel not all smokers are inconsiderate, but base on topic starter's post, I understand how he felt for breathing second-hand smoke. That's why he chose to kpkb here. -

i m not sterotyping or anything.. i just find it irritating to find a bus stop covered with all the smoke....especially in a toilet u cant even piss properly, cigratte butts all over n the smoke.... if they wana smoke at least go somewhere where few ppl are... i just dont understand why smoke? does smoking proves anything?

haiz...wateva u all say lah....ciggy prices increased liao n u all still complain...going to ban smoking in bus stops n kopitiams n u all complain again....dunno what u all really wan....smoke-free in spore?? Haven't u all realise that smokers only complain abt the huge increase of ciggy prices onli? And it was for only a short while...but you ppl have been complaining n demanding since day 1.....really dunno leh........haiz.....
I dun generalise all smokers to be like me to be a considerate smoker...but i see liao not happy....being a considerate smoker still has to tahan with all these complaints n demands........tmd.....
