My PC's setting all screwed by Window update!!

  Well..i followed kbku's advice and went for a System restore...lucky its on( i never turn it off since i used it to minimise dmg from a virus attk).......

  Same thing happened to me. There's a Microsoft update available for the modem driver. After updating, I cannot access the internet. Have to reinstall the modem with the old driver in order to work again.

  actully if u want to revert to original setting without doing troublesome reinstalling and such , u just have to system restore to the point that u have not install the update yet....
